Gary Pycroft  Caterham Superlight at Anglesey, 1 April '08 with Bill Halbert I worked with Bill Halbert, who travelled up from Middlesex, on 1st April at the new Anglesey (Coastal) Circuit on a BookATrack day. It was Bill's first time ever on a track as well as his first time in anything like a Caterham spoerts car. Having driven over the night before, we arrived at the circuit early to collect Book-A-Track's Caterham 'BaT 6' and following the briefing I drove Bill round on the initial sighting laps, followed by Bill driving. The day went exceptionally well and Bill went home a happy man with some greatly improved driving skills and confidence.  THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A GALLERY... During the day two guys came over for a chat, Gary Pycroft and his mate, Mike are planning to start doing track days, but had never experienced it, so with Bill Halbert's agreement, while he took a ten minute break, I took Gary and Mike for a couple of fairly quick passenger laps (see Gary's comment quoted at the top of the page!). |
