 Last Wednesday I was at Oulton Park with Dean and Claire Taylor. I had instructed Claire five years ago at Goodwood in a Porsche 968 and she contacted me before Christmas to book a day for her husband, Dean. We finally got to do the day on the 25th in their Honda S2000.

I'm a Racing Driver and an ARDS (Association of Racing Driver's Schools) Grade A Licenced Racing Instructor. I have been involved in motor sport for over thirty years. My site provides information about me and my experience in motor racing, what I'm currently doing and about my driver coaching services.  The ARDS Instructor Licence is issued by the RAC Motor Sports Association following a stringent assessment and a written and practical examination by the sponsoring racing school. A driver must have a provable history of racing experience before he or she can apply to be assessed for an ARDS Instructor Licence. My Instructor Licence is "sponsored" by Silverstone Circuit.
In this capacity I teach circuit driving techniques to all, from track day novices and enthusiasts, through novice racing drivers, to established competitors. There's more information about my racing and instruction under the relevant categories in the menus on the left. |
